Expert Bodyworker Michael Hane will offer an Atlas Activation Healing Presentation at 6:30 p.m., July 19, at Radiant Living Center, in Oklahoma City. This procedure addresses chronic pain, structural balance and neurological stress. Attendees can schedule individual appointments following the presentation.
Responsible for supporting the head and directing the weight evenly down the spine, the atlas—also called the occipital joint—is located at the base of the skull and directly affects and mirrors the sacrum, hips and base of the spine. It surrounds the brainstem and other vital nerve tracts, including the vagus nerve, which controls many vital functions throughout the body. The atlas needs to be fully balanced for the body to have maximum stability and strength.
“The Atlas Activation healing is a holistic and vital shift to an old pattern of lifelong structural and muscular compensation,” explains Hane. “In most cases, this restoration and reconnection of the vital atlas/occipital joint, needs only one application. This is not an adjustment or chiropractic manipulation, rather an event, a moment in one’s life where a lifelong pattern is released and balanced. It will open up years of tightness and pressure.”
