Cardinal Yoga has opened a new studio at 2412 North Ollie Street, in the growing Uptown 23rd District of Oklahoma City. To celebrate, the studio will host a Grand Opening on February 20. The festivities will kick off with an Open House at 2 p.m., followed by a vegetarian potluck community dinner at 5 p.m. on the grounds.
Formerly a 1920s-era power station, the new studio is centrally located and offers classes for students of all levels. Owner Trinity Mays has expanded class offerings and deepened the expertise of the studio with a team of five certified yoga instructors and a massage therapist offering intuitive bodywork. Classes range from alignment-based asana to breath (pranayama) to meditation, all designed to help students achieve greater self-awareness, reduce stress and anxiety, increase strength and vitality, and improve mood and promote inner calm.
“We have dreamed of supporting the health and well-being of our community through the practice of yoga and meditation,” explains Mays. “The new studio has been the culmination of years of study, practice and the lineage of our yoga studio family since 1995.”
