Raindrop Technique Brings Calm to the Body

Developed by D. Gary Young, of Young Living Essential Oils, the Raindrop Technique uses 10 pure essential oils applied to the spine, neck and feet. It combines aromatherapy, Vita-Flex technique, an ancient Tibetan healing modality, and feather stroking, a massage technique used by Native Americans. The combination of these three modalities, along with the oils, brings structural alignment to the body by opening up energy flow.

The energy flow helps enhance positive emotions and release negative emotions stored on a cellular level, while the essential oils impact the limbic system where emotions are stored in the brain. In addition, the technique supports the immune, respiratory and nervous system, relaxing tense, sore muscles. It also serves as a detoxifier, cleansing cellular receptor sites.

Recipients of the Raindrop Technique often report getting better sleep, receiving a sense of calm, and the release of muscle tension following a session.
