Relieving Pain with Yoga

Whether it is physical or mental, pain is difficult to deal with and manage. Many of us turn to medication, which comes with many risks and adverse side effects. Yoga is a natural, proven method to relieve physical and mental pain that has been used for thousands of years.

According to medical scientists, yoga creates a balance in the nervous and endocrine systems, directly influencing the other systems and organs of the body. This serves as both a curative and preventive therapy. A regular yoga practice requires stretching the parameters of one’s comfort zone and, in the process, an acceptance of the present state of the mind and body.
