Yoga Boosts Brain Power
A recent study confirmed the benefits that yoga practitioners have reported for years. According to an article published in Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice, researchers have found that yoga enhances how the brain works by increasing beneficial brain waves and changing brain structures.
The research, which was conducted by Radhika Desai, Anisha Tailor and Tanvi Bhatt, found that the benefits of yoga practice include better memory, focus and reaction time, even after just a few sessions. Other benefits include reduced anxiety, increased sense of calm and a more positive mood.
