Susan McCarthy and Sandy Pantlik will conduct a two-part Yoga and Journaling Workshop September 2 and 16 at 3rd Street Yoga, in Edmond.
“Not everyone seeks creativity from yoga, but if this is something you would like to experience, there is a way to open yourself more fully to it,” explains McCarthy. “Journaling, in whatever form it takes for you, can be an enriching complement to your yoga.” Common forms of journaling include writing, painting and sketching.
“There will be no end to the questions presenting themselves to you as you practice,” adds McCarthy. “Focusing your mind through journaling can take you deeper in fun and surprising ways. Why not give it a try? Alongside your blocks and straps, add a new kind of prop—a simple journal ready to capture your unguarded thoughts. Let the pages and poses take you deeper.”
